It's official. We are homeless for the time being.
But it's summer, and we have some fun adventures in store for us. First stop... Disney World.
I plan on letting loose and enjoying my kids while also shedding the layers of stress that have built up the last few months. In addition, I'm going to look for inspiration. Writing is all about creativity, so what better place to become inspired than Disney World?
I'll call it research, since I love to write young adult characters. You know, getting back in touch with my younger self. In addition to seeing my own kids' reactions to the magic of Disney, I plan to do plenty of people watching.
What fun summer plans will inspire you?

Do you subscribe to MouseSavers newsletter for Disney discounts, heads-up on which rides are closed, etc? MouseSavers.com I can forward you the newsletter I just got this morning, if you like.
Have a blast! Our high school band from E. Texas performed at Disneyland a few weeks ago.
So jealous, I can't wait to take my girls to Disney - so far away, but it will be worth every cent. It's been too long for me too!
I certainly hope you got on the ride Soarin'. If that one doesn't change your perspective, nothing will :) WRITE ON!
Disney was amazing (Katy, I will look into MouseSavers for Disneyland, since we are moving to CA. Thanks for the tip!). It truly is magical.
Jo--Soarin' is one of my faves, especially since it highlighted my new home. ;-)
