About the series:
About Reap (Harvest Saga #1)
The remnants of the United States of America have been divided. From five enormous, technologically-advanced cities, the Greaters rule over the Lessers.
In the Lesser village of Orchard, things are not as perfect as Abby Kelley thinks they are. When the apple harvest draws near and the Greaters' engineered fruits become too much for one village to handle alone, reinforcements from neighboring villages are called upon.
Having to choose between her best friend, whom she has no romantic feelings for, and mysterious newcomer Crew, Abby finds herself in the middle of a harvest that she had no intention of becoming a part of. She becomes involved in a situation that threatens the strict rule of the Greaters, and just might give the Lessers hope for a better tomorrow. But, can she help the Lessers without losing Crew?
About Resist (Harvest Saga #2)
Abby Kelley returns home from the Greater city of Olympus to find that things in Orchard Village are bad, very bad. The Olympian Guard has taken over village affairs. The Lessers are being worked to the bone in the coldest winter Orchard has seen. Villagers are being dragged away for the slightest indication of what they call “resistance.” She needs to keep her head down and her mouth shut. But, it’s so hard to do when everything within you screams rebellion.
Kyan is coming on strong, trying to convince her to take a chance on him. Shocking news of Crew’s activities in Olympus sweeps through the Villages. When Abby is taken away by the Olympian guard, Kyan sends word to Vesuvius for help. But, no one could have predicted their idea of help or what they might expect in return.
Who will be left to pick up the pieces of Abby’s heart?
About Reclaim (Harvest Saga #3)
The Greaters have ruled over the Lessers since The Fall. They’ve taken Abby’s family. They’ve taken her friends. They’ve taken her hostage and threatened the villages.
Enough is enough. Freedom is worth fighting for. Love is worth dying for.
And the Lessers are done taking orders from the Greaters.
Reclaim…the epic conclusion of the award-winning Harvest Saga.

Chasing Destiny is HERE!
It’s finally here!
An ancient prophecy set forth her ultimate destiny:
Destroy the lawless ones or
Hell’s gate will burst open.
So much has
changed since Reagan shifted for the first time. She found the grandfather and
brother she thought were dead, reunited with her grandmother and aunt, met a
twin sister for the first time, discovered a powerful magic pulsing through
their family’s veins, fell in love, and became part of a pack.
Evil also came
into Reagan’s life in the form of Rafe, a madman who commands a demon-werewolf
army. He’ll stop at nothing to destroy everything good.
Destiny may have
determined Reagan’s fate, but she refuses to allow it to define her path. To
save the world, she must:
Gather powerful
allies.
Call forth a
team of angels.
Form an unholy
alliance.
Discover an
angel sword.
Survive
devastating losses.
Along the way,
Reagan will discover that strength comes from faith, from believing in the
unbelievable, and a new battle cry emerges…
With Faith, We Fight

When Gracie, a young girl on the run, showed up at Rylen Duncan's door claiming to be the new Oracle in need of protection, he had just been appointed leader of a supernatural crime syndicate in the Pacific Northwest. Given five years to prove himself, Rylen, a badass warlock, and his pseudo swat team of unorthodox villains wreaked havoc trying to prove their loyalty to the head of the entire network—the Black Widow.

Who is she? Why is she following him?
As pieces of the puzzle begin to fall into place, each should know the side they belong to. But thoughts and actions are challenged. Will Rylen figure it out before not only his entire team is doomed, but the girl who captures his heart is as well?

Perseverance : #IWSG
The Insecure Writer's Support Group (or IWSG) is a wonderful group put together by the amazing Alex J. Cavanaugh (which now has an equally cool Facebook group).
The first Wednesday of each month is the perfect opportunity to share my insecurities on the #IWSG therapy couch, get encouragement and support about such insecurities, and to read how other writers are faring.
Happy Wednesday, everyone! This time of year is always hectic. On top of the holidays this year, I decided to have a book release on 11/12 for Chasing Destiny (Tala Prophecy, Book 3). I'm excited, but crazy busy and often overwhelmed.
So, I thought today would be a great day to remind us all...
The lovely Janet Wallace shared this quote earlier this week, and then she drilled home the idea during Week 3's chat in the Stand Up. Stand Out. RakeItIn. Part II class. (If you don't know about this class, you must check it out Janet's Social Deviants website.)
Most successful people have the will to push through and never give up. It's all about persevering. So, I wanted to encourage each and every one of you to keep going. Though the path is windy and often exhausting, the destination will be worth it.
One of the things that keeps me going is having an Inspiration Board. It's full of quotes and ideas of what my goal is. In the coming weeks, I will be sharing some of these and what they mean to me.
But, also, in my latest book, I needed to inspire my character to keep her head in the game against all odds, to not quit. "With Faith, We Fight" became her battle cry. It has also become mine. (Funny how writing characters helps us with our own lives sometimes.)
At first, we must believe. But we can't just sit back and hope things will come to us. We have to fight for them.
So, carry on and continue to fight and persevere.
Oh, and please share what keeps you motivated. I love new tricks.
